Rules of the game on the project L2 Shadowlands

(game project L2 Shadowlands - hereinafter referred to as the "Project";

Administration of the game project L2 Shadowlands - hereinafter referred to as "Administration")

1. User Agreement - User Agreement; rights and obligations of the parties.

1.1. The administration reserves the right to make any changes, updates on the server without prior notice to the players.

1.2. Ignorance of these Rules, as well as other regulations and regulations, including the Rules of communication on the project forum, does not exempt from liability for their violation. By registering an account (account) on the server (forum), you automatically agree to the Rules and other regulations.

1.3. It is up to all players to keep track of amendments made to these Rules, as well as any other changes that affect them.

1.3.1. Information about all important events (changes, innovations, promotions, events, maintenance work, etc.) is published on the project forum. All players are required to register a forum account and regularly visit the forum in order to be aware of all the events, as well as to be able to contact the Support Service (the Technical support section is available only to registered users of the forum).

1.4. The administration is not responsible in case of damage - both moral, material, and physical - to the player or group of players resulting from the game on the project server.

1.5. The administration is not responsible for the temporary or permanent impossibility of playing on this server by a specific person or group of persons.

1.6. The administration has the right at any time, without explanation, to stop providing access to the server to a specific user, group of users or subnet as a whole.

1.7. The administration is not obliged to carry out any investigations, as well as the return of game items, accounts (accounts), characters or their parameters lost by players for any possible reason.

1.8. In the event of failures in the operation of the server, the Administration promptly takes the necessary actions to restore its performance as soon as possible.

1.9. Players are obliged to strictly comply with the requirements of the Administration and its authorized persons, as well as the provisions of this agreement in particular and these Rules in general, as well as other legitimately established regulations.

1.10. The owner of the account (account) is responsible for violation of the Project Rules, regardless of who committed certain illegal actions under this account.

1.11. All players are obliged to keep track of the absence of software prohibited by paragraph 3.1 of the Rules. on computers through which access to game servers is provided.

1.12. In case of violation of any clauses of this agreement with respect to the user by other players or the Game Master (GM) or another specially authorized representative of the Administration, the server user has the right to file a complaint with the Server Administrator (Admin) at the email address - l2shadowlands@gmail.com, providing evidence of an offence. Evidence can be screenshots and videos provided in the quality and manner established by these Rules.

1.13. Accounts (accounts) of users, as well as all their contents (characters, game items, etc.), are the in-game property of the Administration.

1.14. Donations. In a specially established manner, the Administration provides specific users with strictly regulated gaming benefits, as additional and optional services for donations for the development of the project. Any items or other benefits and game values ​​transferred to the players for use remain the in-game property of the Server Administration.

1.14.1. The administration is not responsible for the funds lost as a result of the negligence and inattention of users.

1.14.2. The administration does not provide any paid services, any donation is a voluntary action of the user.

1.14.3. The project is not a means of income for anyone. All funds received from donations are used only for support and development (payment for hosting services, server rental, advertising, equipment upgrades, timely maintenance of equipment, purchase of additional software, etc.). The in-game reward, in the form of Coin of Luck coins, is an encouragement for users who want to share the financial burden of the Administration to support and develop the project.

1.14.4. Voluntarily donated funds are non-refundable to the user, regardless of the situation.

1.15. Players undertake to familiarize themselves with the content of the administrative topics of the official server forum, the Regulations of the Server Administrative Service, as well as other rules and regulations located on the project forum.

2. Interaction with the Administration, as well as persons specially authorized by it.

2.1. It is forbidden to contact the Administration and its authorized officials unless absolutely necessary. Any appeal to the Administration must contain a clear, reasonable statement of the essence of the player's problem or a question relating specifically to the operation of the game servers, the site or the forum of the project. Appeal to the Server Administration, its employees is made in a special order, strictly regulated by these Rules and other instructions.

2.1.1. It is forbidden to ask the Masters of the Game (GM), other representatives of the Administration about their personal life and off-duty pastime.

2.1.2. It is forbidden to “flood” through private and other messages in PM Game Masters (GM), asking the Administration representative questions that are not related to a particular game problem, which is under the jurisdiction of the corresponding employee. It is also prohibited to otherwise annoy Game Masters (GMs) by sending more than two private messages in a row if they are not followed by a reply.

2.1.3. It is forbidden to ask or demand from the Game Master (GM) to cancel this or that punishment that has entered into force. All illegal actions of the Game Masters (GM), prohibited by these Rules or the Regulations of the Administrative Service, are appealed exclusively to the higher Game Masters (GM) and the Server Administrator.

2.2. It is forbidden to disrespect the Administration. Disrespectful attitude is understood as an open, pronounced or emphasized disrespectful or disdainful attitude towards the Administration as a whole or its employees or specially authorized officials.

2.3. Threats (as well as blackmail) against the Administration are prohibited. A threat is understood as a promise to inflict any kind of harm, damage, or cause trouble, or the assumption of the possibility of the onset (occurrence) of negative or grave consequences, both for the Administration as a whole and for its individual employees or officials specially authorized by it.

2.4. It is forbidden to spread rumors or slander about the project (server), the Administration, its individual representatives or officials specially authorized by it. Defamation is understood as the dissemination of deliberately false information or fabrications that disgrace, discredit, or undermine, in one way or another, the reputation, or cause any other harm to a particular person or group of persons. Defamation, i.e. public or private-public dissemination of slanderous and defamatory information through the use of forums, chats, periodicals, is also prosecuted under these Rules and entails severe punishment.

2.5. Insults, direct or indirect, against the Administration, its individual representatives or specially authorized officials are prohibited. An insult is understood as an offense consisting in the humiliation of the honor and dignity of a person, expressed in an indecent, vulgar or rude form. Insult does not mean slander, but a negative assessment of the personality of the victim. The use of profanity (obscene language) in an insult entails the application of a more severe and harsh punishment to the offender.

2.6. It is forbidden to deceive the Administration, expressed in the provision of a knowingly false denunciation (knowingly false report about an impending or committed offense, misdemeanor) or statement, as well as any other information knowingly false for the applicant. For deception of the Server Administration, which entailed serious consequences, such as a long or short-term inoperability of the server or the destruction of game property in the use of a person or group of persons, entails the application of a more severe and harsh punishment to the offender.

2.7. It is forbidden to condemn the actions of the Administration and its specially authorized officials. The condemnation of the actions of the Administration is understood as public criticism or disapproval of certain decisions made by the Administration or its authorized officials, or censure and accusation of the Administration for anything. If the player sees in the actions of a particular employee of the Administration or an official specially authorized by it an offense, then he has the right to report to a higher representative of the Administration (in accordance with the hierarchy established by the Regulations of the Administrative Service) or to the Administrator (Admin) of the project via e-mail.

2.8. It is forbidden to interfere in the activities of the Game Master (GM), or any other official specially authorized by the Administration. Interference in the activities of an administration representative is understood as any obstruction of his legitimate activities that can, one way or another, harm him or the result of his actions, or third parties, or the server (project) as a whole.

2.8.1. It is forbidden to attack the Game Master (GM) without his prior consent.

2.8.2. It is forbidden to Party, Friend, Clan, Ally or Trade request to the Game Master (GM) without his prior consent.

2.8.3. It is forbidden to offer (or transfer) to the Game Master (GM), another employee of the Administration or an official specially authorized by it, a bribe in one form or another directly or through intermediaries. A bribe is understood as the receipt by an employee or other official of the Administration of any offering, gift (whether it be money, securities, property or other benefits). For action (or inaction) in favor of the briber or his accomplices, third parties will be severely punished.

2.9. Server players undertake to strictly comply with all legal requirements of the Game Masters (GM), other representatives of the Administration, as well as officials specially authorized by it. Argument (dispute, bickering) with the above authorized persons is not allowed. All disagreements and disputes are resolved in the manner specified in clause 2.13. of these Rules.

2.10. Players are prohibited from asking or demanding from the Game Masters (GM), other representatives of the Administration or officials specially authorized by it, any game benefits (things, money, etc.), to change their parameters in order to obtain an unreasonable advantage in relation to other project players. The exception is provided for in paragraph 1.14 of these Rules.

2.11. It is forbidden to publish correspondence (or its content) with the Server Administration, Game Masters (GM), other representatives of the Administration.

2.12. Game Masters (GM), other representatives of the Administration do not interfere in the game process, except in cases where a player or a group of players violates the Project Rules, regulations and other instructions, and also except in cases of scheduled events (including tournaments and events) or the current work, as well as other incidents provided for by the Regulations of the Administrative Service.

2.12.1. When an Administrator or Game Master (GM) appears in the immediate vicinity of the player, all aggressive actions should be stopped, including if they are directed at the character near which the representative of the Administration appeared. Punishment for violation of this rule is assigned in a soft form and a simplified procedure at the discretion of the Administrator or the Game Master (GM).

2.13. In the event of disputes or in case of illegal actions on the part of representatives of the Administration or officials specially authorized by it, the player has the right to file an appeal (complaint) at the email address l2shadowlands@gmail.com, or directly by contacting a higher representative of the Administration.

 

3. Use of programs; gameplay issues.

 

3.1. It is forbidden to use auxiliary programs that emulate the presence of a character in the game or disrupt the normal functioning of the server software, as well as help to set cycles (multiple repetitions of similar commands) and distort data transmitted from the client to the server. In this case, auxiliary programs mean such programs that change the game client or replace it, or change or facilitate the game process in ways not provided for by the game. For example: showing data about the character, not provided by the game developers (for example, health - HP of the target); automating the gameplay (including bots); automating the entrance to the game (for example, after a reboot - restarting the server); using by means of software methods errors and shortcomings of the game (for example, resetting a target from a player, temporary disconnect, etc.). Any violation of this paragraph is prosecuted under these Rules, suppressed and severely punished.

3.1.1. It is allowed to use patches and utilities approved by the Server Administration. Something like: endless "zoom"; aggressiveness of mobs, their level and drop/spoil from them; coloring and modification of system messages (system messages), as well as the game map; coloring (and other designation) of zones for moving through Scroll of Escape (and other items, skills or spells similar in action), etc.

3.2. Unauthorized access to someone else's account (account) is prohibited.

3.3. Unauthorized sale or purchase for real money, as well as equivalent virtual currency (electronic means of payment - WebMoney, Yandex.Money, etc.) of any game valuables (money, things), as well as characters and game accounts ( accounts).

3.3.1. It is forbidden to discuss and mention anywhere about the sale or purchase for real money, as well as virtual currency equated to them (electronic means of payment - WebMoney, Yandex.Money, etc.) of any game valuables (money, things), as well as characters and game accounts (accounts).

3.4. It is forbidden to use the symbols of clan wars in the emblems of clans and alliances.

3.5. It is forbidden to use profanity.

3.6. It is forbidden to deliberately create situations in which players cannot select NPCs without using the /target [name] command.

3.7. It is forbidden to deliberately create situations in which players cannot pass through arches, doors, narrow passages, etc.

3.8. It is forbidden to deliberately (deliberately) scatter loot (money, things).

 

4. Using server errors (bugs).

 

4.1. Deliberate (premeditated) use of server errors (bugs) is prohibited.

4.1.1. It is forbidden to publicly discuss uncorrected server errors (bugs) both on the forum and in the game.

4.2. It is forbidden to destroy mobs by a player or a group of players when the latter are unable to attack the player due to his inaccessibility or for other reasons caused by the use of methods not explicitly provided for by the game.

4.3. If a server error (bug) is detected, the player undertakes to immediately inform the Project Administration about this by e-mail l2shadowlands@gmail.com or the official forum of the project. Help in finding server errors (bugs) is encouraged.

 

5. Communication in game chats, other places, as well as naming (nicknames).

 

5.1. Public use of profanity (obscene language) in general game chats (general, shout, trade, hero, vip), as well as on the forum and in other official places provided by the Project Administration for communication between players is prohibited.

5.2. It is forbidden to "flood" in public places (such as: in cities, villages, other locations determined by the Game Master - GM). "Flood" means sending homogeneous messages to the chat more than 3 (three) times in a row.

5.2.1. It is forbidden to send more than 1 (one) trading message (sale, purchase, exchange) to the chat every 30 (thirty) seconds.

5.3. Threats (or blackmail) against players are prohibited if they are not a role-playing component of the game. A threat is understood as a promise to inflict any harm, damage, or cause trouble, or the assumption of the possibility of the onset (occurrence) of negative or grave consequences.

5.4. Insults against players are prohibited. An insult is understood as an offense consisting in the humiliation of the honor and dignity of a person, expressed in an indecent, vulgar or rude form. Insult does not mean slander, but a negative assessment of the personality of the victim. The use of profanity (obscene language) in an insult entails the application of a more severe and harsh punishment to the offender.

5.4.1. It is forbidden to create situations of a non-gaming nature that provoke players to insults.

5.5. It is forbidden to explicitly or indirectly sexually harass other players, as well as advertise sexual services and materials, both erotic and pornographic.

5.6. It is forbidden to spread slander and rumors about server players, it is also not allowed to publish the contents of private conversations (PM, Skype, WhatsApp, etc.) with anyone without prior consent. The exception is a denunciation of the Server Administration with a message about a violation of the Project Rules that has occurred or is being prepared.

5.7. Messages that directly violate the federal Constitution, international treaties or generally recognized norms of international law, federal constitutional laws, federal laws, federal by-laws of the Russian Federation are prohibited. For example: propaganda or agitation that incites (incites) social, racial, national or religious hatred and enmity is not allowed; propaganda of social, racial, national or linguistic superiority is prohibited; etc.

5.8. It is forbidden to explicitly or indirectly advertise other online games, third-party servers (projects) and other resources.

5.9. Malicious begging is prohibited (using the verbal "flood").

5.10. It is forbidden to use obscene words and expressions, as well as expressions that somehow offend players or contain vulgar language - in the names and abbreviations of clans and alliances, character names, titles and names of animals (pets). The administration reserves the right to disband without warning a clan or alliance that violates this rule, as well as to block a character (or forcefully change the character's name without warning) or destroy an animal (pet).

5.11. When creating a character, it is forbidden to give him a name containing reserved words: GM, Administrator, Admin and the names of representatives of the Administration or officials specially authorized by it, both previously used and real.

5.12. It is forbidden to impersonate a Game Master (GM), a specially authorized official or a representative of the Administration.

5.13. It is the responsibility and duty of the player to notify the Game Masters (GM) of all impending or committed offenses by personal mail (PM) or through sections and topics specially designated on the forum. The administration has the right to establish incentives for assistance in the prevention and suppression of offenses.

 

6. Doing business.

 

6.1. Fraudulent activities in trading or crafting, carried out in order to obtain money or property from another player, are prohibited. The server administration investigates such cases only if there is evidence in the form of screenshots. Evidence must be provided by the players in a strictly regulated manner, determined by section 7. of these Rules.

6.1.1. In the event that a player was deceived (subjected to fraudulent actions by another player or a group of players) in a game way, namely without the use of server errors (bugs), then the violator (or their group) is subject to severe punishment provided for in the relevant section of these Rules, but items and other valuables lost by the victim are not subject to return.

6.1.2. In the event that a player was deceived (subjected to fraudulent actions by another player or a group of players) in a non-gaming way, namely using server errors (bugs), then the violator (or their group) is subject to severe punishment provided for in the relevant section of these Rules, and the issue of returning lost items and other valuables to the victims is at the discretion of the Administration.

6.2. It is forbidden to use the game's shortcomings when trading, such as the similarity of textures, the removal of things in the process of trading, etc.

6.3. It is forbidden to trade or craft in places where it can lead to inconvenience to other players (such as arches, narrow passages, places near NPCs, etc.).

 

7. The procedure for providing the Administration with evidence of impending or committed violations provided for by these Rules.

 

7.1. Messages about players who violate the Rules of the Game should be sent to l2shadowlands@gmail.com or create a topic in the Technical Support section of the project forum.

7.2. Any screenshot (screenshot) provided by the player, as evidence of an impending or committed offense must be provided in full, without corrections and cuts, with a fully expanded chat. All screenshots must be provided in *.jpg, *.png, *.zip, *.rar and other formats officially authorized by the Server Administrator.

7.3. Any video, replay provided by the player as evidence of an impending or committed offense must be provided in its original form, without editing or any other changes. The video should be as compressed as possible, but all the information contained in it is readable.

7.4. Quoting or stating the content of the text is not evidence of a violation and may be perceived as slander (clauses 2.4., 5.6. of the Rules).

7.5. Deliberate (premeditated) alteration of evidence (evidence) in order to mislead the Game Masters (GM) or other representatives of the Administration is prosecuted under these Rules and entails the application of severe and severe punishment, with the mandatory classification of this offense, both under this paragraph of the Rules, and and according to paragraph 2.6. of these Rules.

 

8. Types of punishment, grounds for their application.

 

8.1. Violation of these Rules entails the application of punishment to the offender.

8.2. The following types of punishments are provided: chat blocking for a period of 30 (thirty) minutes to a month; character blocking; forced change of character parameters (lowering the level, resetting SP, etc.); imprisonment (GM Consultation Service); account (account) blocking for up to 6 (six) months; permanent blocking of the user account (account) both in the game and on the forum; blocking an IP address or an entire subnet, blocking by hwid.

8.3. In the event of a relapse, i.e. a repeated violation by the player of the Project Rules, the type and scope of the sanction is determined by the Game Master (GM), taking into account the provisions of these Rules, but at least not lower than the previous punishment for violating this rule.

8.4. Chat blocking, i.e. disabling all player chats for a fixed period of time - is assigned as a separate punishment for violation of clauses 2.1, 2.1.1., 2.1.2., 2.1.3., 2.2., 2.3., 2.4., 2.5., 2.6., 2.7 ., 2.8., 2.8.3., 2.9., 2.10., 2.11., 3.3.1., 5.1., 5.2., 5.2.1., 5.3., 5.4., 5.5., 5.6., 5.7., 5.8., 5.9., 5.12. of these Rules or as an additional punishment for another, more serious violation committed by the player.

8.5. Character blocking, i.e. deprivation of the opportunity to enter the game with a specific character - is assigned as a separate punishment for violation of clauses 2.8., 2.8.1., 2.8.2., 2.9., 2.12.1., 3.6., 3.7., 4.2., 6.2., 6.3 . of these Rules or as an additional punishment for another, more serious violation committed by the player. It can also be assigned to prevent or suppress an offense that can be committed or that is committed by a player.

8.6. Forced change of character parameters, i.e. lowering the level of the character (or the amount of experience), resetting SP, changing characteristics, etc., is assigned as a separate punishment for violating paragraphs 3.1., 4.1., 4.2. of these Rules or as an additional punishment for another more serious violation committed by the player.

8.7. Imprisoning a character, i.e. moving a character to an isolated location of GM Consultation Service, - can be assigned as a separate punishment for violation of clauses 2.1., 2.1.1., 2.1.3., 2.2., 2.3., 2.4., 2.5., 2.6., 2.7., 2.8., 2.8.1., 2.8.3., 2.9., 2.10., 2.11., 2.12.1., 3.1., 3.2., 3.3., 3.3.1., 3.4., 3.5., 4.1., 4.2., 5.1., 5.3., 5.4., 5.5., 5.6., 5.7., 5.8., 5.10., 5.11., 5.12., 6.1., 6.2. of these Rules or as a preventive (absentia) measure of restraint before applying a more severe and harsh punishment.

8.8. Account (account) blocking for up to 6 (six) months; permanent blocking of the user account (account); blocking an IP address or an entire subnet, blocking by hwid; - are assigned by the Server Administrator as a separate and exclusive punishment for the following range of offenses - criminal acts provided for in clauses 2.3., 2.4., 2.5., 2.6., 2.7., 2.8., 2.8.3., 2.10., 2.11., 3.1. , 3.2., 3.3., 3.3.1., 3.4., 3.5., 4.1., 5.7., 5.8., 5.10., 5.11., 5.12., 6.1., 6.2. of these Rules.

8.9. A disciplinary measure may be applied to the Game Master (GM), another representative of the Administration or an official specially authorized by it who has committed grave offenses in accordance with the Regulations of the Administrative Service and based on the decision of the Project Administrator.

8.10. Any punishment applied by the Game Master (GM) to the violator must be imposed on the basis of these Rules, the Regulations of the Administrative Service, as well as the generally recognized principles of fairness and the prevalence of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of players over the interests of justice.

8.11. No one can be convicted on the basis of conjectures and assumptions, just as no one can be considered guilty until an appropriate decision is made by an authorized person - the Game Master (GM) or the Server Administrator.

 

9. On making amendments and additions, as well as on the adoption of a new version of the Project Rules; final and transitional provisions.

 

9.1. These Rules are not retroactive. Any act committed before the introduction of a rule prohibiting or restricting its action does not fall under the new rule, unless otherwise provided.

9.2. The administration reserves the right to make any amendments and additions to these Rules without notifying users.

9.3. If the Server Administrator approves a new version of the Rules, it must be published on the official forum of the project.

9.4. In the event that a player or a group of players commits an act that clearly damages the organization of the game or the game process, or the security of servers, players or the Administration, but not expressly provided for in these Rules, the Project Administration reserves the right to apply any punishment that is adequate to the committed act.

9.5. These Rules come into force from the moment they are published on the official forum of the server.
